-2F. Frozen lake

The frozen lake was very beautiful at the sunset,  ice was thick, 15 cm.

   Snow, ice and frost!

People can go skiing, motor sledge or just walk across the lake ice now.

We walked with difficulty to our summer house, no ruts there. A thick layer of snow was on the road.

Birds were cold too, but berries still remained from the autumn.

  1. Beautiful pictures! The snow makes everything so quiet and magical. It is a long hard walk trudging through that much snow, but good to make you nice and warm.

  2. How beautiful everything looks dressed all fresh in white. Wonderful pictures but it makes me cold. LOL! Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. We have snow here now but rising temps later this week will melt everything again. It's been like this for the past 3 winters. Very frustrating for winter sports enthusiasts but I like it! I can hardly wait for spring! Great photos - thanks for sharing. (PS - that little bird looks pretty plump - I presume he's found enough to eat in that cold winter weather! :)
