Weather is changing and it is not clear, for better or for worse.
The
snow fell a week ago, everything was white and fresh.
And
now it has melted, because the day temperature rose to +7 C.
Waxwings
flew
away to look
for fresh
berries in
other gardens.
Blackbirds
flew
in to replace them.
But
suddenly last night was clod, and in the morning I saw that the puddles were frozen.
These
days the plants are wet from the rain during the day, then water
freezes at night and the plants get frozen too.
When
I was going to my garden I saw an awesome scene on my way.
The
trees were near the just frozen water. Their reflections were not
clear.
The
rays of cold sun fell on thin ice blurring on its surface.
What
happened to the climate? Is it a global warming or a global cold
spell?
A
new snow has not fallen so far.
Beautiful pictures. I like the one where you can see the leaves trapped under the frozen water.

DeleteIt is the same here Nadezda, we are up to 50 degrees Fahrenheit today and don't even need a jacket outside! The snow will come, I am sure, but for now I am enjoying the temperature :) I love the last photos you posted, the reflection of the trees on the frozen water, looks like embossed silver.

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful area you have taken these pictures in. That first shot was golden glow ... the water ways are so pretty with a bit of ice .. it is all so pretty !
The global warming issue .. our weather has become so very strange as well .. no snow last year .. and this year we have no idea what will happen now too .. we have no snow as yet .. it is very hard on the gardens.

Global climate change is a better description of what is happening as it doesn't just mean warmer weather but often much wetter (look what has happened in the UK this year. In Italy it has been the hottest year for 200 years! Christina
