It's a pleasure to watch summer pictures in cold January. They remind me green lawn and colorful bright flowers that will grow instead of white snow around me now.

Your cake is beautiful like a work of art. :-) As I get older, another birthday feels good that I made it another year but that other year number is sure getting up there and along with it comes a few more physical challenges. There also aren't as many people around to celebrate with so there's not quite the same celebration. I always do something special but it's not quite the same. Here's hoping you have family and friends around you so you can have a real celebration. :-)

We have been lucky so far to be able to celebrate birthdays together with dear family members and I'm the luckiest of all, because my birthday is in summer, in the strawberry season.
