The End of May

May comes to an end :-(, it's a pity! because spring is a wonderful time in nature. Yesterday I postponed works in my new greenhouse, took my camera and strolled in the garden to show you what plants are in bloom now in the end of May. Here they are:

 Tulips near a pond

Grefsheim spiraea

Daffodils and tulips are still in bloom

Bergenia

Fuchsia in an urn

Plum tree

New leaves and buds on a rose

Fritillaria meleagris

Flowering apple trees grown on trellis system

Phlox subulata

Green salad, parsley and green onion on a raised bed

Tujas, tulips and cineraria silvery near the porch

Small rock garden

As I mentioned in my previous post,  my new greenhouse takes all my free time. I have many plans that it would have been convenient for me and plants. I also want to purchase / to make a drip irrigation system, so I need a pump, a water barrel and hoses.

Happy end of May!

  4. Your May garden is lovely Nadezda. Love tulips and daffodil and the sweet apple blossom. Your vegetables look healthy. It surprises me how quickly everything begins to grow and bloom after such a long and cold winter.
Happy days to you as you enjoy working in your greenhouse.

    1. The nature is in hurry, Betty. It knows (!) our spring and summer is short, and takes a high start. A month ago the soil was cold and icy, trees without leaves and one month passed ...All is in bloom, that gladden me.
      Happy weekend!

  14. How charming! It looks as if you are 2 or 3 weeks "behind" us - I always love spring bulbs and are sad when they go. Those are particularly lovely fritillaries.

  19. Your garden looks wonderful in spring, Nadezda! Unfortunately spring was very short in my area. Whole April and May were too warm, so spring was very short here. Today we had absolutely unusual 30°C. All my roses start to blossom - at least 2 weeks too early. This is a crazy garden year here!
I can imagine that it feels great for you having a greenhouse.

    1. Sure your garden is luxury now, Sigrid. I hope the roses are healthy in bloom, here I often see many insects on the leaves. The greenhouse is getting useful in windy weather.
