Some weeks ago I learned the watercolors by Abe Toshiyuki. I loved his paintings very much and today want to introduce you to him.
Abe Toshiyuki was born in 1959 in Sakata, Japan, received his artistic education at the National University, worked as a teacher of drawing and painting. Abe left teaching in 2008 to concentrate on what was the dream of his life.
In Abe Toshiyuki's hyperrealistic watercolors viewers see love and respect for nature. He said: 'I would say that art is a mirror of the soul of the viewer. I believe that the main task of art is to touch the deepest emotions coming from the heart of the viewer'.
Seeing first time the Abe's paintings I decided that these were photographs of nature. It's not without reason his creation is called hyperrealistic.
In each of Abe's paintings there is the mood of the artist. Looking at them I kind of walked in the misty forest, across the field among the grasses, in the snowy winter.
For his incredible painting the artist has got several prestigious awards. “In my works I focus on the nuances and subtleties of the simple things that surround us”.
Abe Toshiyuki
Nadezda, these painting are gorgeous! I didn't know Mr. Toshiyuki, thanks for introducing me to his Art!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome MDN!
DeleteНадежда,и я подумала,что это фотографии. Гиперреалистично))))А акварелью писать нужно огромное мастерство.
ReplyDeleteВы правы, Надежда, техника акварели очень сложная. Поэтому трудно поверить что перед вами картины.
DeleteWhat an amazing talent is Abe! It seems to me there is so much more life in these paintings than in a photograph, 'though they look like photos. I admire them all. I think painting number three is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased you have shared this artist with us. Thank you, Nadezda!

Dimi...
I agree Dimi, Abe's works are uncommon. It's a pity you had no a good course of watercolor technique.

Fabulous painter. His paintings are really fantastic. Thank you...now I know such amazing and talented artist. Every painting is so magical.I think the same about photograhy...my photos show my soul. :)
ReplyDeleteGreetings, wish you a very nice weekend. <3
Your photos represent your soul, it's right Aga. These paintings show us how astoundingly is the perception of an artist.
DeleteWonderful painting, a fantastic ability to capture the impression of light and "time of day". I think watercolour painting is so very hard, because you can't really correct mistakes easily. I tried it once and I too felt my teacher wasn't helping me with the proper technique. I can tell that you love art and your photos are always so nice, so maybe you should try again? Have a lovely weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jenny. My watercolors are dilettante in comparative to Abe's :-(
DeleteHis art is a high masterpiece. You're right watercolor technique is too hard to learn it too fast, the hand has to be strong and accurate.
Have a nice weekend too!
Me encantan esas pinturas. Buena tarde.
ReplyDeleteA mi tambien Teresa, gracias!
DeleteUntill now I did not know this Japanese painter, but oooh his paintings are amazing. The waercolours are indeed hyperrealistic, so very beautiful, but also very hard to make.
