In Amsterdam last December I saw a wonderful vase which was about 10 times the size, but with many openings for individual tulips. I agree that they are beautiful and interesting.
oh Tulips! my impossible gardening dream! Peonies and Tulips are plants I covet but won't grow here at all. Wish you the happiest springtime in the beautiful Russia!
First of all, I love your new header photo! All the ceramic items you have photographed are really beautiful. The vase is very interesting. I find it always difficult to arrange tulips beautifully in a vase - that kind of vase would guarantee good results. Thank you for the lovely post!
The Dutch were first who started growing and propagating tulips, Sara and it's not surprised they designed the special vase for tulips. That was a surprise to me :-) I love how tulips look there.
Bonitos adornos Nadezda. Seguimos con mucho frío.Buena noche. Besos.

ReplyDeleteYou're right Jenny, the design of tulip vase is enough unusual and interesting. I've also seen the round ones with 10-12 openings.
