Sun and rain, all flowers and plants are growing by leaps and bounds.
I catch my camera in the morning and try to take pictures of everything that blooms in this day.
Dicentra white and blue thalictrum, rogersia, herbaceous and tree peonies, crown anemones, and of course, my favorite roses floribundas.
So I share with you my photos of plants in these summer days in mid-July.

Now I have to do with vegetables and berries, because strawberry is already ripe!
Such beautiful Roses and other blooms, Nadezda! I love those pure, white bleeding hearts - so pretty.
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate you are to be receiving enough rain.
Girl, thank you! We have more than enough rain here.
DeleteYou have a beautiful garden, Nadezhda! Your roses are especially lovely. Our strawberry season is almost over, but tomatoes and peaches are ripe :)
ReplyDeleteMasha, I'm sure your tomatoes and peaches are very tasty because of the hot sun they're ripen. This summer my strawberry is great, very sweet too. Thank you!
DeleteYou have such a beautiful garden. I feasted on your roses since mine are just throwing on a bloom or two now. Just enough to keep me going. LOL! Your Dicenta Alba is so pretty. And the Anemones are so lovely. I have no luck with them. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lona! This spring I'd planted Anemones in the containers and they grown with other flowers. I was said the crown anemones are not hardy, so I'll store them in cool place in winter.
DeleteHello Nadezda
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky gardener you are to have white bleeding hearts blooming at the same time as your roses!! Enjoy!!
Astrid
Am I lucky? Thank you, Astrid! These capricious Bleeding hearts grow very slowly third year and only this summer started to bloom. Last summer I stepped on it was such small and invisible.
DeleteYou have so many beautiful blooms I don't know where to start. They all pop with color and are such wonderful additions to your garden. Simply spectacular!
ReplyDeleteYes, my garden is bright now, thank you, Sage!
DeleteNadezda your flowers are stunning ! especially these beautiful roses, which are my weakness. What rose is the large middle picture .. that is not pure white but rather a creamy white .. it is beautiful !
ReplyDeleteWe still have no rain .. it is terrible here.
I went out early morning and watered my roses and my new little hydrangea with a few other plants .. I don't want them to die on me ... I can't wait for Autumn !!LOL
Joy : )
Joy, I remember your weakness, the white roses! This one is the rose floribunda "Margaret Merrill", one of the famous white floribundas, very hardy. I hope all your plants will survive in the heat, before fall comes.
DeleteYour garden is really beautiful!! Many of your summer flowers bloom here in spring. It's wonderful to see them again. The second to last photo of the rose looks like it has three roses growing out of it! Incredible!! :o)
ReplyDeleteI love this rose too. It's Damask rose (Old rose) "Madam Hardy". While the bud opens retains its shape in four centers of petals in a cup. It's really not very hardy for our climate, I cover it each fall. Thank you!
DeleteYour roses are beautiful. The one with the three blooms together has such a delicate and pretty shade of cream in it. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Holley! I love all my roses very much. These floribundas need very warm cover before cold and freeze in winter. As it's said: tough kids are the most loved.
DeleteSo nice to see your flowers fresh while my are looking a bit tired :) So many pretty roses and I love the thalictrum.
ReplyDelete~Julie
Julie, my flowers have not enough sun, the last week we had a lot of rains. They're tired of water. Thank you for following my blog!

ReplyDeletesweetbay, it was my fault, I accidentally removed your comment. Sorry! I love the Thalictrum or "meadow-rue" too! It's very graphically plant and the bees love it. Thank you!
DeleteSuch beautiful blooms! You surely have enough moisture in mid Summer. Where do you garden? My roses are just hanging out waiting for cooler temps to rebloom.
ReplyDeleteCarolyn, I'm gardening in zone 5a, every day we have rain and all my plants are tired of such moisture. It's the first wave of rose blooming. Thank you for stopping by!
DeleteNadezda, the cluster of white roses is so beautiful and romantic, they must smell heavenly! Enjoy your garden in bloom.
ReplyDeleteRosemary, my white roses are Old (English) roses, their buds are as cups of 4 centers of petals in one cup.
DeleteThe "cluster" is one Old roses bud, opening its petals! Thank you!
Hi! We're almost neighbours.. I live in Southern Finland. So we both have more than enough rain, don't we? You have beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteSatu
Hi, Satu! I see a neighbor here, I'm glad. Yes, the wind and terrible rain is the third day. I love Finland and have many very hardy plants bred in Finnish nursery. I love your blog, thank you for stopping by!
DeleteThank you for visiting my blog. Have a nice Thursday!
ReplyDeleteSatu
How do you manage to keep your roses so healthy looking? They are beautiful, as are all your other flowers. I can say the same as before, most of them grow in my garden too.
ReplyDeleteFrico, I'm glad you found the time to visit my post between your concerns about the dog, the house and spills of water after rain, and especially about your health. My roses are hardy and resistant to diseases, and I spend a lot of time in my garden! Thank you and take care!
DeleteIt is interesting that you have bleeding hearts and roses blooming at the same time. In my garden the roses bloom well after the bleeding hearts. I especially admire your white roses. I have no white ones, but would love to add some.
ReplyDeleteHi, Jennifer! This year my bleeding hearts were late, and their blooming was only 5 days, all buds have fallen today. I hope your white roses won't upset you!
DeleteThank you!
Hi Nadezda,
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting your site over Joy. So, here I am.
I'm living in Northern Germany, but you're living much more northerly than me.
I hope I can visit one day St. Petersburg. So far I've only come to Tallinn ...
And we also have rain, rain and coldness.
Everything is wet and flowers lay down.
I admire your beautiful flowers, especially that white bleeding heart!
Are that Gardenias?
Have a nice weekend!
Meggie
Thank you, Meggie, for stopping by! Yes, the weather is awful, cool and wet. Some of my roses are very hardy to rain and wet weather, but another suffer very much. Unfortunately, gardenias do not grow in our climate, too frost is in winter.
DeleteI loved your blog too!
We seem to have similar growing conditions, as well as currently rainy weather. With the cooler weeather and shorter grwoing season, I still have Dicentra in bloom, too. Your roses are looking good.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by! I hope the weather will be better on weekends.
DeleteBeautiful the rain really is producing beautiful plants and blooms this year. Your roses my gosh are fantastic, I love to come and look at them. Repeatedly.
ReplyDeleteThan you, bakingbarb! I love my roses, to look at and to touch them too.
