Mid-July Blooms

Sun and rain, all flowers and plants are growing by leaps and bounds.
I catch my camera in the morning and try to take pictures of everything that blooms in this day.

Dicentra white and blue thalictrum, rogersia,  herbaceous and tree peonies, crown anemones, and of course, my favorite roses floribundas.
So I share with you my photos of plants in these summer days in mid-July.

Now I have to do with vegetables and berries, because strawberry is already ripe!

    1. Masha, I'm sure your tomatoes and peaches are very tasty because of the hot sun they're ripen. This summer my strawberry is great, very sweet too. Thank you!

    1. Thank you, Lona! This spring I'd planted Anemones in the containers and they grown with other flowers. I was said the crown anemones are not hardy, so I'll store them in cool place in winter.

    1. Am I lucky? Thank you, Astrid! These capricious Bleeding hearts grow very slowly third year and only this summer started to bloom. Last summer I stepped on it was such small and invisible.

  6. Nadezda your flowers are stunning ! especially these beautiful roses, which are my weakness. What rose is the large middle picture .. that is not pure white but rather a creamy white .. it is beautiful !
We still have no rain .. it is terrible here.
I went out early morning and watered my roses and my new little hydrangea with a few other plants .. I don't want them to die on me ... I can't wait for Autumn !!LOL

    1. Joy, I remember your weakness, the white roses! This one is the rose floribunda "Margaret Merrill", one of the famous white floribundas, very hardy. I hope all your plants will survive in the heat, before fall comes.

  7. Your garden is really beautiful!! Many of your summer flowers bloom here in spring. It's wonderful to see them again. The second to last photo of the rose looks like it has three roses growing out of it! Incredible!! :o)

    1. I love this rose too. It's Damask rose (Old rose) "Madam Hardy". While the bud opens retains its shape in four centers of petals in a cup. It's really not very hardy for our climate, I cover it each fall. Thank you!

  8. Your roses are beautiful. The one with the three blooms together has such a delicate and pretty shade of cream in it. Just lovely.

    1. Thank you, Holley! I love all my roses very much. These floribundas need very warm cover before cold and freeze in winter. As it's said: tough kids are the most loved.

  11. Such beautiful blooms! You surely have enough moisture in mid Summer. Where do you garden? My roses are just hanging out waiting for cooler temps to rebloom.

  15. How do you manage to keep your roses so healthy looking? They are beautiful, as are all your other flowers. I can say the same as before, most of them grow in my garden too.

    1. Frico, I'm glad you found the time to visit my post between your concerns about the dog, the house and spills of water after rain, and especially about your health. My roses are hardy and resistant to diseases, and I spend a lot of time in my garden! Thank you and take care!

  16. It is interesting that you have bleeding hearts and roses blooming at the same time. In my garden the roses bloom well after the bleeding hearts. I especially admire your white roses. I have no white ones, but would love to add some.

  17. Hi Nadezda,
I'm visiting your site over Joy. So, here I am.
I'm living in Northern Germany, but you're living much more northerly than me.
I hope I can visit one day St. Petersburg. So far I've only come to Tallinn ...

And we also have rain, rain and coldness.
Everything is wet and flowers lay down.
I admire your beautiful flowers, especially that white bleeding heart!

    1. Thank you, Meggie, for stopping by! Yes, the weather is awful, cool and wet. Some of my roses are very hardy to rain and wet weather, but another suffer very much. Unfortunately, gardenias do not grow in our climate, too frost is in winter.
      I loved your blog too!
