Impatiens flowers painted in bright colors, develop on the branches in early summer. They attract swarms of insects.
According to the shape of the flower, Impatiens are divided into: rose-shaped, camellia-shaped and carnation-shaped. The plant loves warmth and plentiful watering. Now Impatiens is so popular in gardens and homes that new varieties and hybrids are constantly appearing.
Happy Garden Blog day!
I am sure that they brighten up your home in no small way.
ReplyDeleteYes, they do David. Especially now in dark cloudy days.
DeleteSono molto belli, la natura ci regala sempre colori e profumi.
ReplyDeleteBuona serata.
You're right Giancarlo, they are pretty.
DeleteMy husband used to plant impatiens in pots every spring and we would place them around the house outside as they do well in the shade. I have not been gardening this year as I am still trying to move the GA house. I enjoyed looking at your pretty pictures in Prague, your beautiful flowers and also mushrooms.
ReplyDeleteVagabonde, I'm pleased you have read my previous posts. Inpatiens bloom well in a shady place, I agree.
DeleteHope you will have finished your moving to the new house by New year.

DeleteHello Nadezda!
ReplyDeleteYour Impatiens are very beautiful. They need a lot of water I guess. I had some of them before, and they was always so thirsty. Nice to have them indoors in October. I have taken my camellias and hortensias indoor in my basement. It's still warm weather here, and 12 degrees yesterday.
Have a nice week.
Hugs!
We need to transfer tender plants to store inside in our climate, Marit. As you did with your camellias and hydrangeas. My hydrangeas winter in the garden they are hardy. But Impatiens are not :-(. Today is +5 C and forecast snow this week.
DeleteBonitas flores te has llevado a casa amiga. Tu ventana está espectacular con esos colores.
ReplyDeleteBuen martes.
Un abrazo.
Hola Laura! Sí, impacientes decoran las ventanas.

Dear Nadezda!
ReplyDeleteYou can be proud of your flowers. You take care of them with such care, because they are beautiful, healthy and bloom profusely.
I greet you warmly. Anita
Yes, Anita. Now my concern is to help them to winter at home and to return to the garden in spring.
DeleteAll the best!
I love these flowers, Nadezda! such beautiful colours on yours.
ReplyDeleteI have one white, hope it will survive the winter(inside).
Hugs, Ida
So will I, Ida. The wintertime indoors is difficult for plants, warm, dry air and a bit of light.
DeleteI know them as a house plant, and have never thought to put them into the garden. I'll try next year, and see if they attract lots of bees. When I kept them as houseplants, (years ago) I seem to remember that they flowered constantly.
ReplyDeleteI agree Jenny, impatiens is a very thankful plants. It grows and blooms well inside and outside, so I hope yours does well in the garden next year.
DeleteNadezda, my Impatiens were good this year too.I hadn't thought about bringing them inside for winter. I don't have any room for them inside. I will definitely get more next year. I love that orange one. One of my favorite colors. Happy GBBD.
ReplyDeleteLisa, they do well inside too.If you want to have some more next year you could get cuttings and push them in one pot together for rooting. I love their colors as well.
DeleteYour Impatiens are very pretty Nadezda. It's so nice to have blooms to enjoy indoors as the colder temperatures set in. Happy Bloom Day!
ReplyDeleteYou're right Lee, it's a pleasure to see bright colors indoors during cold days.
DeleteYour impatiens are beautiful, Nadezda. I love them!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
So do I, Tania.
DeleteAll the best!
Deseo que estés bien amiga. Que pases un buen miércoles.

Maria
Glad you have impatiens as well, Maria.

I haven't had a chance to eat buckwheat porridge. It's very interesting to know when we live in different places, same materials are cooked in different ways. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteHope one day you eat buckwheat porridge, roughterrain crane. We call it "grecha" as if it were from Greece :-)
DeleteHugs!
