Dmitry is considered as one of the best followers of the Russian school of landscape painting. He prefers to paint nature, villages, urban views. All his works seem to be very simple, but they can raise the memories that would seem have been irrevocably forgotten. This is amazing power of art.
I had a pleasure of viewing his beautiful scenic paintings, for you I placed them since vernal to wintry landscapes.
Since 1997 Dmitry Levin took part in exhibitions in Russia, Belgium, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Hungary, France, Germany, USA, Italy. Some of his paintings are in private collections in many countries of the world.
What do you think looking at Dmitry's work?
What of these paintings would you hang in your living room? (I'd have 'Heavy rain')
Nadezda, thank you so much for sharing these beautiful paintings! Dmitry is extremely talented, and I love his work!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Linda!
DeleteI like quite a few of them. I think the fourth one and the first snowy one are my favourites.
ReplyDeleteThe first snowy one is of the very frosty day, as I think Sue. The sunrise is very bright so the day will be very cold.
DeleteOh, and as for your question, Nadezda....I love this entire series! It would be difficult for me to choose any particular one! :)
ReplyDeleteI understand you Linda. All of them are interesting.
DeleteReally wonderful work, I like each and everyone. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Blogoratti!
DeleteThanks for posting beautiful paintings. I have really enjoyed four seasons in a northern country.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the climate is a little strange for you, roughterrain crane. Although I think there are some places in Japan where the climate is similar to this one.
DeleteAbsolutely gorgeous paintings. One of the best I have ever seen. Thank you for introducing me this artist.(NOT SURE IF THIS SENTENCE IS CORRECT HAHA)
ReplyDeletePaintings full of magic. I would like to have them in my home.
Greetings and happy day .:)
So do I, Aga :-) I'm glad you liked these paintings.
DeleteReally talented artist I have to say. Thanks Nadezda for sharing his paintings. I like most the fourth painting because it reminds me my childhood.
ReplyDeleteThe 4th one reminds me the village where I spent some summer days, Kruunu Vuokko. Interestingly that one picture could bring back such memories to different viewers.
DeletePreciosas pinturas que reflejan estupendamente momentos de la naturaleza.
ReplyDeleteBuen lunes Nadezda.
Besos.
Gracias Laura, buena semana!
DeleteThank you for the introduction to this talented gentleman. I would be thrilled to be able to see any of them on a daily basis, but if I had to pick one, it would be the first one. It reminds me of looking down the road of life. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, Judy what an amazing opinion! I had never thought about this picture as of the road of life. And now having attentively looked at it I see the path going far and far from the home.
DeleteUnbelievably beautiful! I really pay tribute to those who have received such a gift to paint such beautifully. Greetings
ReplyDeleteYou're right Anne. The talent is a gift.
DeleteThank you!
Thanks for sharing these wonderful pictures, Nadezda! My favourites are the 1st and the 9th.
ReplyDeleteI immediately thought of a German painter who also paints wonderful landscapes. His name is Uwe Herbst. Maybe you would like to google it.
Regards
Sigrid
You're welcome!
DeleteI've seen the work by Uwe Herbst, Sigrid. They're very interesting and some are unusual.
Greetings!
Nadezda,
ReplyDeleteThe images are wonderful. I already love this artist painter.
He has a special gift from God.
Thank you that i could see his works.
Happy week, Nadezda.
Lucja, thank you! It's a really talent, you're right.
DeleteGlorious works! I love them all and would be delighted to hang any of these in my living room. The wistful feeling of the autumn picture (fourth up from the bottom) is marvelous. There's something special about still autumn days, there is a sadness at seeing summer end but a bit of ease as the hard work in the garden is relaxed and we take a break before hunkering down for winter. Very peaceful.
ReplyDeletePeter, to me the special feeling of autumn is thoughts of preparing my plants to the cold season :-) But I agree, the autumn pictures by Dmitry are colorful.
DeleteGood morning Nadezda,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful, wonderful paintings. Thank you for sharing.
Have a wonderful week ahead.
Marijke
