What pleases you in the April garden and home?
You are surrounded by flowers both inside and out and what could be more pleasant than that? I think that the thing I like best in the garden right now is the profusion of primula - a hardy, tough, attractive little plant if ever there was one it is such a burst of colour as I come into the driveway.
ReplyDeleteI agree David, primula is a pleasant plant, it's very hardy in our climate.
DeleteGood morning dear Nadezda,
ReplyDeleteFantastic to see your springflowers. It must be great to have a greenhouse and get early beautiful flowers.
Happy Springtime!!
Rosehugs Marijke
Marijke, I am very glad that I purchased greenhouse last year. Now when the nights are cold for tender plants as petunia I can store them inside the greenhouse.
DeleteHugs!
Hello Nadezda,
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are looking so beautiful. The St. Paulia is so pretty. Many of the same flowers bloom here too. Our climate are very similar.
Happy gardening!
Hugs
You're right Marit, our climate is similar, the flowers grow and start to blossom. I wait for a plum tree blossoming.

So lovely to see your spring-time flowers.

All the best Jan
So do I, Jan.
DeleteBest wishes!
I haven’t come across a white chionodoxa before.
ReplyDeleteThese bulbs I bought last autumn Sue. I have not had white chionodoxa before as well.

ReplyDeleteYes, it's true Lisa. These irises bloom the first spring in my rocky garden, are lovely.
DeleteEstán todas preciosas. Muchos besos.
ReplyDeleteGracias, Teresa
Deletebesitos!
Lovely picture of the Iris xiphium, love the colour. Spring is the best time of year and you have Summer to look forward to. Autumn is nice but Winter is always at the back of your mind. Have a great gardening season Nadezda.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Alistair, these bright blue irises are pretty, and they were a suprise to me because I forgot where I have planted the bulbs :-)
DeleteNow I do not want to mention winter.
I don't grow petunias from seed, but I always enjoy choosing unusual ones.
ReplyDeletePetunias are in different colors, I prefer mix of red/purple and white. I can imagine Jenny your nice flowers, do you plant them in hanging baskets?
DeleteSpring fills our life with flowers, Nadezda. Happy month of May!
ReplyDeleteGracias, Tania
Deletehappy May to you too!
Hello I love Your pictures. Hug Nina
ReplyDeleteHello, Nina,

Flowers in your garden are already a distant history in ours. Past weeks have been very warm and dry, so the tulips are main show now.
ReplyDeleteBut your blooms are beautiful, both, in and out!
Your tulips are ahead of mine, you're right Tistou.
DeleteToday the weather turned out cold with snow, br br. I do hope my garden survives these days.

Hello Nadezda, already the pink Petunias of your header made me smile happily... and you have so many beautiful flowers at home and in the garden!
ReplyDeleteThe weather seems to be cool in St. Petersburg too; here it's snowing today, much. Oh no! :)
Have a lovely weekend!
Oh, dear! When I write you Sara it's snowing outside, br br. Poor things my flowers. Tulips started opening their buds, hope they are well after snow.
DeleteSo lovely to see all the flowers again.
ReplyDeleteToday it snowed here, but I have also planted out some flowers, hope the weather will be better again soon.
What a wonderful church you visited!
Hugs, Ida
I do hope your plants survive after these cold snowy days, Ida. Mine are in cold weather as well, but they are well. This church is an historical place and is beautiful, you're right.
